What is CEVR & the CEA Registry?

The Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health (CEVR) at Tufts Medical Center is a leader on issues pertaining to value, cost-effectiveness, and risk tradeoffs in healthcare decisions. Our mission is to analyze the benefits, risks, and costs of strategies to improve health and health care as well as communicating those findings to clinicians and policymakers. The CEA Registry is a comprehensive database of cost-utility analyses on a wide variety of diseases and treatments

Responsibilities

· Read 8-20 cost-effectiveness articles each week, extract relevant variables, and consensus answers with a partner
· Attend lectures from CEVR faculty on health economic topics and research
 
Eligibility Requirements
· MS/MPH in economics, public health, health policy, health services research, statistics or a related field OR
· Relevant graduate-level coursework in cost-effectiveness analysis, or health economics
 
Additional Skills & Competencies: 
· Excellent communication skills
· Critical reading skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to adhere to tight deadlines
 
Duration
· 8 weeks: June 18 - August 10
 
Compensation
· $2,500 in two installments
