Statement of Independence

Our policy on research independence and transparency

As part of a non-profit institution, CEVR publishes study findings at its sole discretion. We strive for a diversity of funding sources and for transparency in disclosing the sources of our support. We do not accept any conditions concerning how unrestricted funds are spent. Project-specific support funds tasks agreed to by CEVR and our sponsors, but CEVR maintains its independence in conducting that work and the freedom to publish our findings. The Registry has the following principles that we consider inviolate:

  • No outside interference with our judgment about the quality and completeness of published cost-effectiveness analyses; and
  • Complete freedom to publish analyses based on Registry data

We appreciate all comments about our work.
